Adam Arlitt PT, DPT
Born and raised in Austin, TX, Adam always had a strong interest in exercise and adventure sports. Adam attended Texas State University to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Through his experience in various clinical settings and continuing education, he crafted and honed his own style of physical therapy, and began reimagining the "usual" model of care, which led him to opening Mountain Built. Through working with Adam, you will learn more about the nature of your injury so that you feel more informed and empowered to return to activity sooner.
If he’s not working, Adam can frequently be found somewhere in the mountains climbing or riding, trying new restaurants in LA, or spoiling his cats.

Tired of the traditional model of physical therapy, which too often includes rushed sessions, limited 1:1 time spent with your physical therapist, and short cookie cutter treatment plans, the Mountain Built model aims to break the mold with our re-envisioned personalized and holistic approach. Our goal isn’t just to help you recover from injury, but for you to also receive the support to stay healthy and achieve your athletic goals.
Rehabilitation
Spend your time fully 1:1 with your Doctor of Physical Therapy, and develop a plan together that fits your lifestyle to reach your goals and get your active life back. We offer in-person and online options to make it easier to access the care you need.
Training
We understand that your journey doesn’t end when you are injury-free and want to support you as you work towards your sport goals. We will teach you how to train to lower your injury risk. We offer customized training plans as well as 1:1 or duo personal training sessions.
Recovery
Whether you are coming back from injury or are already healthy, sometimes your body needs a little TLC after a big workout, projecting day, or race. Our recovery sessions include things like hands-on manual therapy, cupping, and stretching.
