Training Plans

We offer customized training plans to help you meet your upcoming goals. Starting with an hour-long online interview, we will develop a program that is built around your life schedule, exercise experience, and goals.

Do you want to break into a new climbing grade or have your eyes on a specific project?

Want to be able to ski from the moment the lifts start running until the time they close?

Have a long mountain biking trail you want to have the endurance to finish, but you don’t know the best way to reach this goal?

We will use our knowledge of exercise science and recovery to create a tailored 8-12 week training plan that will help you train the right things (strength, power, endurance, speed, etc.), in the correct muscles, with the right amount of recovery time in between your workouts.

Having a professional program your training routine is a great way to take the guesswork out and finally break through a plateau.

Pricing for training plans will depend on the length of the training block. For a standard length program the prices are:

8 week program - $400

12 week program - $500

Payment information will be collected upon scheduling, however you will not be charged until after our interview, prior to sending over the program

Personal Training

Here at Mountain Built, our mission is to help our clients stay healthy and achieve their athletic goals. Personal training gives you an option to continue receiving support towards those goals after injury recovery (or before you become injured!). The benefits of working with a personal trainer include having a professional manage the load you are putting on your body, keeping you motivated, and taking the mental work out of exercise.

Our sessions are offered online or in person at Dr. Adam’s garage gym in East Hollywood. During our first session we will perform baseline strength and fitness assessments so your future sessions will be programmed with the correct amount of difficulty.

As we do with all of our services, we aim to customize our personal training to fit your needs. You are welcome to buy a single session at a time, or a package of sessions at a discount. Packages can be used on whatever frequency you wish, whether that is a regular session every week, every other week, or even once in a blue moon to learn how to safely perform a new exercise you have been wanting to try.

Personal training sessions can be kept 1:1 with your DPT, or you are welcome to share your time with one other friend or family member.

1 client Single Session Price - $200

2 client Single Session Price - $240 ($120 per person)

8 Session Package - 10% discount

  • 1 client - $1440

  • 2 client - $1728 ($864 per person)

12 Session Package - 15% discount

  • 1 client - $2040

  • 2 client - $2448 ($1224 per person)

Please note that personal training services are not appropriate to treat an injury and are not HSA eligible. You are welcome to work with us for personal training sessions for unrelated body regions while receiving physical therapy services (ex leg workouts while rehabbing a hand injury, upper body workouts while rehabbing a knee injury).

Recovery Sessions

We provide recovery sessions to give you a space for a "tune up“ after physically demanding days. Perfect for after a competition, race, climbing trip, going for a PR, or just having a big workout. The focus of these sessions is on aiding your recovery and getting your body ready for your next workout. No rehab, no training, just relaxation. Depending on your needs we will utilize a combination of hands on soft tissue and joint work, cupping, stretching, and foam rolling to improve your mobility and keep your body feeling good.

Recovery sessions are only offered onsite at our East Hollywood location.

30 Minute Recovery Session - $125

Payment information will be collected upon scheduling, however you will not be charged until your session.
